Bridge Building Competition - 1998

Dr. Ken Kellogg and Dr. Don Andersen, along with several civil engineering students, helped the students weigh and test their bridges under load.

Bridges were loaded using buckets which were filled with sand. Students poured scoops of sand into the bucket which was hung from a block placed on the center of the bridge. Note the variety of bridge designs.
