CE Industry Advisory Committee Meet
The Civil Engineering Industrial Advisory Committee (IAC) meeting is scheduled for Friday, December 2, 2011. The meeting will be held at the Research 1 Building, Room 148. The department faculty and staff will discuss the state of the department with the committee in the morning hours. The members of the committee will then meet with student advisory committee in four independent sessions and come up with action plans to improve teaching, advising, and facilities in the department. IAC will also suggest the department on curriculum development to meet the market demand. Provost J. Bruce Rafert will visit with the committee after lunch. Representatives from civil engineering student organizations will make oral presentations to update the committee on various activities undertaken by them. The agenda also includes expansion of the IAC membership.
